The Operations Training Supervisor, under the direction of the Training Manager, will be responsible for the organization, facilitation of and reporting on a wide range of training initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and engagement of the workforce.
This includes the DHL Onboarding program for hourly staff, Compliance and Safety training and Certified eCommerce Solutions (CES) Foundation trainings.
The DC Operations Trainers report into this role.
All programs are to be delivered in line with the 5 guiding principles focused on increasing employee engagement and retention:

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Leads, organizes, facilitates, and implements all aspects of the New Hire Onboarding program including the continual program training modules (held after initial program completion:
30, 60, 90 Days and beyond through the first year).
Responsible for administering / overseeing the day-to-day logistics of all scheduled training courses:
Including classroom preparation, supplies, participant lunches, prizes, certifications.
Assists with the development of Operations Trainers through the delivery of in-class content and other training materials.
Manages and develops assigned DC Operations Trainers.
Conducts performance reviews, coaches and trains employees.
Supports with the development of effective training materials, job aids and support materials.
Facilitates and organizes training sessions at the distribution center level with local staff (Front Line employees, Trainers, (Supervisors and Leadership team when needed) related to:
The operations onboarding program Training the DHL Way hourly training program Certified eCommerce Specialist (CES) Foundation module New Process Implementations Safety and Compliance Courses Monitors the effectiveness of training employees using individual or group performance results.
Collects feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation Reports weekly and monthly KPI on DC Onboarding and Training Programs.
Reports employee attendance and certification data to the My Talent World LMS administrator and Certified Learning Program teams.
Executes in a variety of training mediums:
classroom training, interactive exercises, operations floor trainings, online learning.
Supports all front-line employee training, development, onboarding, and retention efforts.
Requirements and Skills:
Strong coaching, facilitation, and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate, delegate and hold direct reports accountable for training program objectives.
Has exceptional facilitation skills that are flexible dependent on the audience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of learners.
Has a strong sense of empathy, being highly emotional intelligent, with the ability to listen actively and engage an audience.
Must be a creative problem solver who can remove or maneuver around obstacles to drive success.
Has strong analytical skills that enable you to communicate the complex simply.
Communicates elegantly and convincingly through writing and in person.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills at all levels of an organization.
High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in conducting training in a variety of mediums:
Classroom, operations environment, interactive activities, eLearning.
Proficiency with MS Software:
PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Education and/or
Experience:
High School diploma required.
Associates degree preferred.
2 years of external supervisory experience or 1 year of DHL eCommerce Supervisory, Operations Trainer or Quality Specialist experience.
A relevant degree, qualification, or evidence of continuous professional development in your area of expertise a plus.
CES Foundation course completion.
Train the Facilitator certification (will be provided).
Internal Candidates:
Experience as a proven Respect and Results Leader within Operations Physical Demands:
Mainly a shift specific role, however, able to work a range of shifts based on operational needs.
Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
Frequent standing and walking.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
