Avenel, NJ Avenel, NJ Full-time Full-time $17 an hour $17 an hour Dana Transport has an immediate need for a Payroll Clerk.
This is a full-time position that is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with some overtime if needed.
Ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Payroll Clerk Duties Maintain employee information by adding and deleting in the payroll system as needed.
Audit payroll and make corrections as needed before accepting.
Receive and figure time cards/sheets, paying appropriately.
Enter hours for hourly employees in the appropriate payroll system.
Process and mail checks to various company locations as well as handle checks for direct deposit.
Excel level must be Intermediate to Advanced! From time to time other duties as may be determined by Payroll Manager.

Payroll Clerk Requirements 1 year previous experience.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Ability to calculate time cards to 100th.
Multi state payroll experience preferred.
Experience with ADP PayForce preferred but will train! Excel skill-set must be a minimum of intermediate! Skills to operate standard office equipment.
Computer skills including:
MS Word, Internet, and Email.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
