We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a receptionist.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate individual with a passion for helping others and an ability to establish a rapport with our patients.
He/she must be able to work closely with other members of our long-time staff.
Prior experience in a medical setting, ability to communicate clearly and prior experience with medical insurance and electronic medical records are all necessary.
This office offers excellent camaraderie among our staff and a sense of mission in providing excellent care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Answering the phone in a professional manner Scheduling appointments for our physician and other providers Verifying insurance benefits Collecting copays and co-insurance from patients Entering data into the EMR Checking patients in and out at the front desk as necessary Prepare charts for patient appointments Other activities to fulfill front desk responsibilities
Qualifications:
Prior experience as medical receptionist or similar position in healthcare setting Good interpersonal and communication skills Detail oriented, energetic Familiarity with EMR (we use E-Clinical Works) and comfortable with computers Job Type:
