This position is responsible for food safety and quality while processing wholesome quality ingredients.
Must ensure the continuous improvement and execution's of ingredients inspection, handling, and preparation.
Requirements:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and know basic math.
Understand and follow GMP, Food Safety, Allergen Program and Sanitation Procedures (SSOP's) Knowledge of using and handling measuring tools, understanding measuring metrics.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment and around loud moving machinery.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.
Any containers, bag or item that weighs more than 50 lbs must be lifted in teams of two.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as standing, walk, bending, lift, kneeling, crouching, reaching, stooping, squating, and climbing stairs throughout the shift.
Must be able to work in hot, wet, and/or humid areas (70-100
Fahrenheit degrees) and resist strong food odor such as onions.
Must be tech savvy using handheld scanners.
Must be able to handle allergens and chemicals.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
