Job Description:
Blend, and pack out powder batches based on production schedule.
Assists with pre-weighing operator.
Responsibilities (Dry Blend Operation):
Operates blender according to the standard operating procedures.
This includes start, speed/time adjustment, shutdown, and cleaning filter for dust control systems.
Load blenders with pre-weighed pallets safely and in proper sequence.
Safely loads product from Supersack into stainless steel totes.
Operates packaging line equipment according to the standard operating procedures.
This includes the Sifter, screw conveyor, bag fill, and heat sealing equipment.
Safely loads totes of blended powders into place to supply the sifter.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of their assigned work area.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of their assigned master sanitation (MSS) tasks.
Perform scales weight verification, metal detector verifications daily to ensure working properly.
Document findings.
Responsible for complying with food safety, food security, Quality, GMP's, HAACP, Allergen/Sensitizer as well as other regulations as required.
Proper labeling of all weighed materials/pallets, and partial containers returned to stock locations.
Maintain accurate records.
Must be able to work in metrics (grams, kilograms) and able to convert weight measurements between lbs and kilograms.
Must be willing to take instructions and adhere to company and departmental policiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by management team including assisting in production.
Must perform sanitation, general housekeeping duties as assigned.
Operator will properly document cleaning and Sanitation on the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
Requirements:
Be able to work independently.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Operator will be required to manage priorities.
Must be forklift/ electric pallet walkie Certified.
Must be able to lift, pull, push up to 100 lbsBasic math skills; which includes but is not limited to addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
May be required to work overtime as required.
Manufacturing environment experience and knowledge of batching is preferred.
