Responsibilities:
Execute Customer Service team objectives as defined by the Customer Service Manager.
Operate various software efficiently, including Microsoft NAV, Word, Excel, Access Databases, Outlook, Salesforce, Slack, Customer Sales portals, and Customer Document portals.
Read and respond to emails daily, addressing customer inquiries promptly.
Forward complex issues to the Customer Service Manager and collaborate with others to find solutions.
Enter and modify customer orders with meticulous attention to detail, including internal communication, report generation, pricing checks, and item extensions.
Advise customers on shipments, provide tracking information, and issue comprehensive shipment notifications as per customer specifications.
Keep records of customer interactions, maintain accurate filing of documents, and perform data entry to keep customer information up to date.
Enter and maintain customer contracts/blanket orders.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers effectively.
Create, update, and maintain customer cards, checklists, document folders, cross-references, etc.
Process customer regulatory document requests, including database entry, communication with internal departments, sending to customers, and filing.
Create and send quotes, saving relevant information in customer folders and databases.
Timely response to customer inquiries.
Print labels as necessary.
Second-check fellow team member's order entries for accuracy.
Undertake projects or tasks assigned by Management to maintain departmental organization and efficiency.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to multitask among various software.
Logical and critical problem-solving abilities.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
Self-starter with the capability to work independently and within a group.
