Conduct regular assessments of production stations to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
Recruit, train, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.
Collaborate with the safety and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Champion a safety-first culture by conducting regular safety audits, promoting adherence to safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in production supervision or management.
Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communications skills:
create and deliver communications to inform and motivate employees; communicate confidently and clearly to staff and senior leadership.
Solid interpersonal skills - show interest and listen to others' concerns and issues.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
