Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy of orders to be shipped by validating part numbers, lot numbers, and purchase orders against company documents.
Safely pick and palletize outbound shipments as required, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently move inventory into allocated spaces within the warehouse.
Complete required paperwork according to company SOPs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Work collaboratively as part of a team, following all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the manager to support the efficient operation of the shipping and receiving department.
Requirements:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving.
Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures.
