Production Associate

Duties/
Responsibilities:
Works from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and installs a wide variety of components
Utilizes a variety of hand tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers and rulers.
Requires ability to read, write and perform minor assembly calculations
Requires knowledge of soldering techniques, color codes, component identification and understanding of production prints
Using insulation, stripping techniques, including manual and machine, strips insulation from wires in accordance with instructional materials.
Use the computer to access work instructions, and to access and/or input labor tracking, work in progress tracking, non-conformance tracking, configuration information, and RIP location look-ups.
Performs a variety of mechanical assembly functions such as labels, stamping, potting, crimping, fastening, soldering, wire wrap, epoxy application, masking, unmasking, and packing. Press a variety of assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Clean parts using cleaner, sonic cleaner and other mechanical and manual processes.
Performs any operations in the line and may be assigned to other duties when production conditions require it.
May be asked to perform other duties not outlined in this description
Qualifications:
Must be able to read assembly instructions, parts list, and related documentation in English.
Must be able to understand and record information on routing instructions.
Must have working knowledge of soldering techniques, and be able to use wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, and rulers.
Must be able to perform basic calculations (I.e. measuring length, turns, size, etc)
Must be able to identify color codes to match component identification and have working knowledge of productions prints.
Two year experience working in manufacturing company
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works standing and/or seated while performing duties.
Handles medium to heavy weight material.
Clean room conditions may apply.
ESD control training and compliance with ESD policies may be required.
Safety glasses with side shields required.
No drinking or eating in some areas.
FAA drug test requirements may apply.
Must maintain good housekeeping practices.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is occasionally high.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
