Vantage Apparel, a midsize manufacturer, is the nation's top source for custom logo apparel, with key end clients including Fortune 500 companies, resorts, golf courses, colleges, and casinos. If you've been to a store that has employees wearing shirts with logos, there is a very good chance that the product or logo decoration was done by Vantage Apparel. We've been the leading innovator in the promotional apparel industry since 1977, and we are looking to hire a Lab Technician that exemplifies the innovation for which Vantage Apparel is known.


The QA/Merchandising Intern will:


€   Perform lab evaluations on bulk fabrics, duplication/development fabrics, trims, accessories, labels.


€   Own documentation of findings, maintain run cards/files/lab dips and standards.


€   Communicate lab approvals / rejections with global factories, following up as appropriate.


€   Scan and issue QA reports / documents, own file maintenance and data entry into shared file database.


€   Coordinate PP/TOP and duplication samples review, along with other, as-needed measured within QA team.


€   Own daily email communication between vendors, agents and internal (merchandising, inventory and sourcing) with actionable direction


€   Establish color standards, prepare and distribute globally, maintain standards library.


€   Provide support with product back up development for reviewing garments and items as needed.


€   Help inspection department during their absence for priority inspections.





The ideal candidate will possess:


€   Must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program.


€   Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


€   The ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.


€   A high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.





€   Proven ability to communicate creative solutions with confidence, ease and clarity.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
