Warehouse Receiver

You will work for Vantage Apparel, a midsize manufacturer, is the nation's top source for custom logo apparel, with key end clients including Fortune 500 companies, resorts, golf courses, colleges, and casinos. If you've been to a store that has employees wearing shirts with logos, there is a very good chance that the product or logo decoration was done by Vantage Apparel. We've been the leading innovator in the promotional apparel industry since 1977, and we are looking to hire a receiver that exemplifies the innovation for which Vantage Apparel is known.


The receiver is responsible for all functions and paperwork relating to receiving. He or she will operate forklift in a safe and proper manner.

The receiver will:


€       Move goods to bulk warehouse or picking location if needed.

€       Move goods from receiving to QA for inspection.

€       Load and unload trucks.

€       Own reports to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other    safety hazards.

€       Perform other duties as allotted by a manager or supervisor.

€       Stack empty pallets.

€       Make note of any damaged goods or any other discrepancies and reporting





The ideal candidate will possess:


€          Excellent communication skills





€          Basic math skills

€          Ability to read labels and numbers.

€          Ability to stand for long periods of time.

€       Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
